Restoration is defined as the act of bringing back to an original or former more desirable condition. It is vitally important to know which restoration techniques are appropriate and which are inappropriate to maintain originality. Original or prior condition is always our foremost consideration in any antique restoration.

Over 25 years of expert craftsmanship, respect and knowledge of appropriate techniques and the application of the same type of materials obtain this object of consideration. Original nails, screws and hardware are always reused when ever possible. With craftsmanship, knowledge and respect we always maintain close attention to details.

Before each restoration begins a full evaluation survey is conducted to determine necessary and appropriate restorative procedure. We take care to understand our customer’s desires and then formulate a correct restorative procedure that incorporates the customer’s requirements with the highest standards in antique conservation and restoration.

When restoring an antique we never remove an original finish. We do however when requested and feasible clean, restore, and conserve original finishes.
